Phigora, Luxury Watch Shop
Social Strategy
-
Phigora, a used luxury watch shop, has spent years pushing content on social in the interest of brand awareness. They saw a high degree of success in 2024, with some videos achieving millions of views. In 2025, they were still attaining some high views but successes more intermittent. With the algorithmic changes on Instagram for 2026, the brand began to struggle as the social content was failing to maintain high-enough retention to warrant views.
I was brought on board in March of 2026 to help revamp and revitalize their multi-channel social strategy. After reviewing their metrics, I quickly identified a few pitfalls in their strategy.
With their strategy prioritizing high-volume over insightful content, they were no longer optimized for modern social platforms. Additionally, their accounts lacked a clear brand identity, leaving viewers unclear of what the channels had to offer.
In order to maximize views and convert followers, the account needed to showcase high-quality product visuals as well as demonstrate expertise. After a few weeks of testing, I landed on a content strategy that involved a combination of optimizing their existing content pillars in conjunction with implementing some new ones.
